Yvon Breton was born on June 15, 1942 in Jonhville, Quebec.
After his high school studies in Sherbrooke, he goes to l'École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal, from 1962 to1968. Afterwards, Yvon works in a graphic design studio. Perfectionist, he experiments all the processes related to the field, acquiring training and discipline that will later help him throughout his career. Among all types of arts, her chooses painting to express himself. The success of his firsts exhibitions encourages him to continue and to devote himself entirely to his art. In 1967, he wins the Prince Fine Arts Awards at the National Exhibition. In 1988, he receives the pretigious French honor, awarded for the first time to a Quebecer, the René D'Anjou Award. |
