Born in Brême, Germany, this artist of Polish origin studies at the reputed Küsnst Akademie de Dusseldorf in Westphalia. After working in Europe, he comes to Quebec in 1959. Soon afterwards, he is conquered by the urban landscape of the Old City (Quebec) and its surroundings, which he paints in all seasons.
After paiting mostly nature in a realistic way, he enjoys a more impressionist style because of the freedom of interpretation. He exhibits his work mostly in Quebec, Montreal, Vancouver and Ottawa. We can admire his mural on many buildings of Quebec City as well as on the wall of the Canadian Army officers in Raastatt in the BaleWürtemberg.
