Joanie Thomassin

FR: Née en 1995 à Québec, Joanie peins à l'acrylique vers l'âge de 10 ans. Elle a continuée son parcours en concentration anglais-peinture au secondaire, puis en arts visuels au Cégep. Elle détient aussi un Baccalauréat en enseignement.

Depuis 2016, elle travaille à la Galerie Le Chien D'or, studio-galerie familial, auprès de sa tante Johanne Thomassin, artiste-propriétaire. Joanie a développée un grand intérêt pour les techniques mixtes à l'acrylique. Ses oeuvres se veulent douces et colorées à la fois tout en amenant ceux qui regardent son travail à voyager dans leur bons souvenirs.

EN: Born in 1995 in Quebec, Joanie paints with acrylic since the age of 10 years old. She continued her journey taking all the art classes she could along the way. She also has a teaching degree.

She has been working at the Galerie Le Chien D'or since 2016. Joanie has developed a great interest in acrylic and mixed media painting. Her artwork has the objective of transporting the viewers back to their favourite places and memories.
